Our nursing department currently consists of eight specially trained and educated oncology nurses with a Bachelor of Science in nursing. Certified in oncology by the Oncology Nursing Society. Members of Oncology Nursing Society / Chicago Western Suburbs Chapter Oncology Nursing Society, the experience ranges from 4 years to 17 years in the field of oncology. Our nurses excel in the teaching and administration of chemotherapy and participate in the management of treatment side effects, as well as home care and hospice.

We strive to provide care given in an atmosphere of kindness and special concern for each patient.

Stacey Whelton, N.P.
Stacey received her Bachelors of Science in nursing from Mercer University in Atlanta and her Masters of Science in nursing at Rush University; where she fulfilled the Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program.  She completed her residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and was a  Hematology Nurse Practitioner at Rush University Medical Center for 6 years before joining our team.  Stacey brings with her outstanding experience and credentials that complement your HHOA physician in bringing you the best quality care.
