Medications for Constipation: The following over the counter preparations can be used to treat early constipation. (follow the manufacturer's directions)
If you have had no results in 48 hours you may try the following if you are not experiencing nausea, vomiting or pain. Senokot: two tablets at bedtime-repeat in AM if no results Fleet enema: again if you have low WBC's or platelets please call the office before trying this product Please feel free to call the office if the above is not working and you need furher assistance. If you do have any pain, nausea, vomiting or abdominal distension-please call the office immediately. |
