Dr. Shah received his Bachelors of Science and Medical Degree at
Wayne State University. Highlights of his undergraduate
career include the Henry Award which is given to only one
male in each graduating class. He completed his Internal
Medicine residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago
and his Hematology/Oncology fellowship at Rush University
Medical Center. He is board certified in Internal Medicine,
Hematology and Oncology. His interests include lung cancers
and lymphomas. He had research accepted at the national
American Society of Hematology conference in the field
of lymphoma, as well as at the national American Society
of Oncology conference in the area of lung cancer. He has
had numerous publications and plans to continue to
perform research in the area of lung cancer. He is an
assistant professor at Rush University Medical Center and
continues to collabarate with them to advance cancer
research.
