Dr. Winter graduated from University College Medical School
in London, England in 1972, receiving the Gold Medal in
Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at
Memorial University of Newfoundland and University of
Alberta. She completed a fellowship in Hematology at the
Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, MN, where she
also served as Instructor of Medicine. This was followed by
an individual third year of research study in her special
field of coagulation. She is board certified in Internal
Medicine and Hematology. Dr. Winter has served as Local
Chapter President of the American Cancer Society and
Chairman of Medicine at Hinsdale Hospital. She is a Fellow
of the American College of Physicians (FACP). Dr. Winter was
named a "Top Doctor" by Chicago Magazine (2002),
Castle-Connolly (2004), and Chicago Consumers' CHECKBOOK
(2011). |
