Dr Louie is no longer seeing patients.
Dr Louie graduated cum laude with Honors in
Biology from the Brandeis University in Boston and received
her medical degree from Harvard Medical School in 1979. She
completed her post-graduate medical education at the
University of Chicago (internship and residency) and her
fellowship at the National Cancer Institute (completed in
1985). Dr Louie has been in practice in Illinois since July,
1985. She has published numerous papers involving basic
research and treatment of ovarian cancer and is a Fellow of
the American College of Physicians, member of the American
Society of Clinical Oncology, and member of the American
Association for Cancer Research. Dr. Louie is board
certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. She is
currently Chairman of Medicine at Hinsdale hospital. She
participates in Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group, National
Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Project, and Gynecologic
Oncology Group clinical trials.
Dr. Louie retired December 2010. |
